Under some limited circumstances we may agree to assist a party beyond providing an unbiased analysis of their problem. We may agree to assist them by guiding them through an attempt to negotiate a direct settlement without engaging formal legal representation. this may be as simple as giving them tips or pointers on how to proceed. It may be that we assist them in determining who to contact and how to do so, or even editing their letters to the other party or parties. We may also agree to represent them formally as their legal counsel for the limited purpose of attempting to negotiate a settlement with the other party or their attorney. Nevertheless, representation beyond negotiation or participation in an informal ADR process will not be provided.
