As of the Fall of 2009 we no longer provide litigation or other services requiring participation in formal court, administrative or other governmental or quasi-governmental proceedings.
Additionally, we have expanded our Alternative Dispute Resolution services into Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
Our California legal consulting services are provided only by qualified, competent attorney(s) licensed by the California BAR Association. Many of the consultation services we provide do not require a lawyer to perform them. Those dispute resolution or conflict resolution services not requiring an attorney are, in most cases, still performed by a lawyer in good standing in California.
Other dispute resolution or conflict resolution services not requiring an attorney may employ the services of other professionally trained individuals such as paralegals, legal assistants, Realtors, contractors or other business professionals who both, have experience in a particular discipline, and have received additional training and education in conflict resolution. Such training is most likely to include curriculum in Arbitration and Mediation.
Affordable Legal Consultations - Our legal consulting services are low-cost, and because we do not take on the representation of parties engaged in litigation or quasi-litigation proceedings there is no conflict of interest. We have no competing need to obtain your business vs telling you just how bad it might really get if you decide to pursue it.
Limited Legal Representation - In some circumstances a client may retain our services to write letters, make phone calls, etc. to negotiate a settlement between a party and another party in which they are engaged in an ongoing dispute.

Alternative Dispute Resolution
Conflict Coaching - This service is for you if you are in a dispute with another party, need some assistance in negotiating a settlement with them, but fear that suggesting mediation or arbitration may increase the other parties enmity.
Mediation - This is a service wherein a neutral third party comes alongside the parties in dispute and assists them in mutually discovering a resolution to their dispute.
Interest Based Mediation: In this, the most common form of mediation, the mediator focuses on the matter formally in dispute and how each party might best be persuaded to reach a compromise of their interest to reach a settlement with the other party.
Values Based Mediation: Many times a dispute may be resolved by the reconciliation of the personal or emotional differences of the parties, thus resulting in a more personal conciliation of the matter over which the parties were in conflict.
Arbitration - This is probably the most commonly form of alternative dispute resolution. Arbitrators are sometimes referred to as a "rent-a-judge" because they serve the same function as a real judge but they are, in fact, hired privately by the parties to resolve their dispute. An arbitrator hears the presentation of evidence of both parties and renders a formal decision. This decision is enforceable by a court of law despite the fact that it was not rendered by a formal judicial system court proceeding.
